Low Grade Challenges

Some people jump into adventure with both feet from the highest diving board, and others prefer to wade in gradually. Low grade challenges are designed to get you moving and dipping your feet into the world of adventure. Spend a weekend hiking or a day biking a rail trail.

Low Grade Challenges will meander through hiking trails under 6,000 ft and sustained activity of under 5 hours per day. Hiking distances average up to 6 miles per day and cycling under 30 miles per day. These adventure activities will invigorate and inspire without the commitment to months of training.

The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start.

- John Bingham, marathon runner credited with starting the "slow running movement"
