Supporting PROMESA:

Each participant is asked to raise $4,000 in support of the PROMESA school in Cusco, Peru. Your sponsorship will go toward an exciting new project of the PROMESA school, which will give more Peruvian children access to high-quality, Christian, discrimination-free education.

PROMESA was started by the Peruvian Mennonite Church in 2005 to provide students with a higher-quality education than the public school system can offer. PROMESA also gives indigenous Quechua children, who often experience discrimination, a place to thrive. The demand for safe, high-quality Christian education has exceeded PROMESA’s capacity, and now a new school building is being planned to accommodate every child who wants to learn well and feel safe. Funds raised through this adventure trek will help build the road and bridge leading to the mountainside site of PROMESA’s future building. At the end of the trip, the adventurers will get to meet the students they've been trekking for!

Please consider joining the adventure by becoming a sponsor! Not only will you be supporting the trekkers in their adventure to see the beautiful world God created, but you’ll also be bringing education, hope, and Christian formation to Peruvian children.
